How to use

• Direct sip: Remove both caps, place the intake end in the water and draw through the mouthpiece. The first 2 or 3 pulls prime the membrane and feel stiff, then flow settles in.
• Bottle sip: Fill a bottle, canteen or cup at the source, drop the intake end in and drink from there. Good for shallow creeks.
• After use: Blow air back through the mouthpiece until water clears the straw. This pushes sediment off the membrane and helps keep flow strong. Cap both ends and store dry.

FAQ

Can I store it in a cold vehicle? A sealed, never-used straw can be kept in a vehicle year-round. Once used, water stays in the fibers, and freezing can damage the membrane in a way you cannot check. Store used straws indoors.

Can it be shared? The straw is a mouthpiece, so plan on one per person.
